
Fans Guide to 2018 Spring Football Game Presented by PNC Bank

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The 2018 University of Michigan football team will hold its annual Spring Game presented by PNC Bank on Saturday, April 14, at Michigan Stadium. The spring football practice is free and open to the public, with the Wolverines taking the field at 5:45 p.m. to begin warm-ups and drills.
The football practice will be televised live by BTN. Fans can also watch the live broadcast on BTN2Go, the network's digital streaming service, as well as Fox Sports Go. Locally, the practice will air on WXYT Radio (97.1 FM in Detroit) starting at 6:45 p.m. The radio broadcast will also be streamed on MGoBlue.com.
The gates to Michigan Stadium will open at 4:45 p.m. A special airing of episode one of All or Nothing: The Michigan Wolverines, the new docuseries from Amazon Prime Video chronicling the 2017 season, will be shown on the videoboards starting at approximately 5 p.m.
The typical prohibited items list will be strictly enforced, with no bags allowed in the stadium for the spring football game. All attendees and items are subject to search. In addition, there will be a bag check starting at 5 p.m. on the South Concourse of Crisler Center.
Following is a list of game day information regarding the spring football game:
Parking
The parking lots surrounding Michigan Stadium owned and operated by the University of Michigan will be free and open to the public starting at 12 p.m.
Pioneer High School: The school district will be charging $20 for cars and $100 for RVs. The Pioneer lot will also open at 12 p.m.
No tailgating will be allowed in any of the parking lots.
ADA Parking
A limited number of parking spots for guests with a disability will be available (free of charge) in the Blue and Champions North lots.
Restrooms and Concessions
All restrooms except a few on the upper concourses will be open and various concession stands around the concourse will be available for fans.
M-Den Stores
The official provider of Michigan Athletic apparel, M-Den, will have stores located inside Michigan Stadium open for fans to purchase official merchandise. The stores are located in the north end zone, the south end zone inside Gate 4 and the southeast corner of the stadium (store located inside Crisler Center).
Hall of Honor Recognition
During a break in the spring practice, the Michigan Athletic Department will recognize the athletic accomplishments of seven individuals that are being inducted into the Hall of Honor on Friday evening. Mary (Fischbach) Bailey (women's swimming and diving), Gil LaRose (men's gymnastics), Norvard "Snip" Nalan (wrestling), Lisa (Larsen) Rainsberger (women's track & field/cross country), Marty Turco (ice hockey), MaliVai Washington (men's tennis) and Charles Woodson (football) are members of this year's induction class.
Michigan IMG Sports Network Radio Broadcast
The Michigan IMG Sports Network will broadcast the spring game live on WXYT Radio (97.1 FM in Detroit) starting at 6:45 p.m. Jim Brandstatter (play-by-play) and Dan Dierdorf (color commentary) will call the action from the press box with Doug Karsch and Jon Jansen providing interviews and updates from the field.
Highlights and Interviews
The athletic department will provide complete coverage and interviews with members of the football program following the spring game.
Sporting Events on the Ross Athletic Campus
In addition to football, the Michigan Athletic Department will have four sporting events on the Stephen M. Ross Athletic Campus on Saturday. The women's water polo team faces Saint Francis (9:30 a.m.) and Hartwick (7 p.m.) at Canham Natatorium and the women's tennis team will host Maryland at the Varsity Tennis Center at noon.
The softball team will play Rutgers at Alumni Field starting at 2 p.m. At the identical 2 p.m. time frame, the baseball team will take the diamond against Maryland at Fisher Stadium.
