An Ann Arbor native, Bullard Mehall began setting records in high jump and hurdles as soon as she stepped on campus. By graduation, she had set four Michigan records, a pair of Big Ten records and three Big Ten titles and was named an All-American four times. As a senior, she added Big Ten Track Athlete of the Month to her list of accomplishments, though her success was not limited to the track. In her field of kinesiology, she received the Paul A. Hunsicker Award as outstanding undergraduate and was a Michigan Academic All-American. She became the first Michigan female high jumper to clear the 6-foot mark at the National Indoor Championships at the Pontiac Silverdome. In 2004, Bullard Mehall was honored with an induction into the Michigan Women’s Track and Field Hall of Fame. Photo Gallery
