Military Request
The University of Michigan Athletic Department is grateful for the sacrifices made by those who serve(d) in the Armed Forces. To honor and thank those who have served or are serving our country, we are happy to offer the following:
Military Retirement: If you are someone who is, or knows someone, who is retiring from the military (within one year of submission date), you can request a letter and challenge coin from Michigan Athletics. Please fill out the form below and Michigan Athletics will review your request and determine if it can be fulfilled.
Retirement Flags: For our annual #MGoTroops Military Appreciation Game at Football we will recognize 16 members of the military who are retiring by flying an American Flag over Michigan Stadium during the game dedicated to them. If you or someone you know would like to be considered for this opportunity please check the box on the form below. Those selected to have a flag flown will be notified no later than one month prior to the game and will receive the flag mailed to them along with a photo after the game.
Recognitions: If you would like to nominate someone as a Hero of the Game, please fill out our Hero of the Week form. Do not submit the form below.
Autograph Requests: Unfortunately, due to NCAA compliance policies, we do not accept requests for autographed items.
Game Tickets: Occasionally tickets for select Michigan Athletic sporting events will be available on VetTix.org for veterans and active duty service members. To be eligible and to receive notifications, you must visit VetTix.org and create an account.
