University of Michigan Hall of Honor

Tom Mack
- Induction:
- 2006
The Bucyrus, Ohio, native was a standout offensive lineman for Bump Elliott’s Michigan teams of the mid-1960s. Mack was a key member of the 1964 Big Ten championship squad that dominated Oregon State in the 1965 Rose Bowl. The following season, Mack was one of four Wolverines named to the All-Big Ten team. After his playing days at Michigan, the powerful lineman was taken as the second overall pick in the NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams, and over the next decade Mack clearly demonstrated that he earned that lofty selection. Over his professional career, he was named to the Pro Bowl 11 times. In 1999, Mack was enshrined into the NFL Hall of Fame.
