Tai Touchdowns Are Winners
Senior wideout Tai Streets (Matteson, Ill./Thornton Township HS) grabbed another two touchdown receptions in the Indiana game, giving him six this season and 14 for his career. Streets is tied with Jim Smith (1973-76) for the seventh most TD receptions in school history, The Michigan record for career touchdown receptions in 37 by Anthony Carter (1979-82). Streets gave the Wolverines a 14-7 lead with a 51-yard touchdown reception with 8:16 left in the third quarter and extended Michigan's lead to 21-10 with a four-yard catch. He ended the game with eight catches for 117 yards. Streets has at least one touchdown reception in four straight games and five of the last six. Streets has caught the game-winning touchdowns the last two weeks (Northwestern and Indiana).
