Streets made six receptions at Minnesota for a career-best 192 yards and a touchdown, and he set a Wolverine road record for reception yardage. In fact, his total was just five yards shy of the overall Wolverine record of 197 yards set by Jack Clancy in Michigan Stadium vs. Oregon State (9/17/66).
Streets and quarterback Tom Brady (San Mateo, Calif./Serra HS) combined on a 76-yard scoring play in the first quarter at Minnesota. The 76-yard bomb tied for the fourth best pass play in 'M' history, matching a Rick Leach to Curt Stephenson connection vs. Washington in the 1978 Rose Bowl (1/2/78).
For the season Streets leads the Wolverines with his totals of 38 receptions for 609 yards and seven touchdowns. Streets has a scoring reception in five straight games and in six of the last seven. He moved his career touchdown reception total to 15 tying Greg McMurtry (1986-89) for sixth on 'M's all-time list.
Streets has hit the 100-yard mark in receiving yards three times this season and six times in his career. He ranks fourth in career 100-yard receiving games at Michigan.
Three of his six receptions vs. Minnesota came on third down (for 39, 13 and 20 yards). For the season Streets has made 20 of his 38 receptions on third down plays.
The Wolverines are 6-2 on the season (5-0 in Big Ten play) and host Penn State this weekend (Nov. 7). The game will be carried by ABC (Noon kickoff, EST).
