QUOTES
Michigan Coach Sue Guevara
"We're running an offense that has four different entries, so I think they're out there thinking too much. They're almost telegraphing their passes."
"I told the kids that for us to get one shot on the basket is not going to cut it. We need to go to the boards. I'm looking for that animal to rebound the ball."
U-M Junior Captain Stacey Thomas
"The coaches always emphasize 'defense, defense, defense' and that's how we got the majority of our points. As long as we communicate and play defense, we'll improve."
On whether the team is prepared for its opener against Vanderbilt ... "Our upcoming practices will tell us if we're ready. We're not intimidated by anyone. We always go out with the mindset that we're ready to win."
