Limauro Named Big Ten Soccer Co-Player of the Week

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Big Ten Conference has named University of Michigan soccer player Jessica Limauro (Troy, Mich./Troy HS) as co-Player of the Week for her performance this past week. Limauro, Michigan's first Big Ten Player of the Week this season, shared the honor with Northwestern's Kristen Palmer.

Limauro led the Wolverines to a 1-0-1 record last week as the Wolverines tied No. 7 Penn State 1-1 in double overtime at home on Friday, Sept. 25, and defeated Ohio State 2-0 in Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday, Sept. 27.
She assisted on U-M's only goal against Penn State and scored both goals at Ohio State.
The senior forward leads the Wolverines in every offensive category this season: shots (20), goals (8), assists (4), points (20) and game-winning goals (3).
The Wolverines return to action Friday (Oct. 2), when they host Iowa at 4 p.m. at the Michigan Soccer Field.
