QUOTES
Michigan Head Coach Brian Eisner
On the team's performance ... "We are making great strides and this is a step in the right direction. In singles, our play was a step above the level we played against William & Mary (Thursday, Jan. 21). Our doubles play still leaves a lot to be desired. We really need to pick up our play to get to the next level.
"This was a great way to start the year, going 2-0 with such a young team. Every player now recognizes how they need to put together their matches. I was pleased, though, because our energy level was up across the board."
