Michigan Men's Cross Country Inks Three Recruits

Turner's achievements include winning the Nebraska state cross country championship this year and clocking personal bests of 4:09 in the mile and 1:52 for 800 meters during his junior track and field season.
Ward is an Ohio state champion in the 3,200 meters with personal bests, from his junior year, of 4:12 in the mile and 1:52 for 800 meters.
During his junior year track season, Hughes was the Michigan state champion in the mile. He has personal best times of 4:10 in the mile and 1:53 for 800 meters.
"This is the first time we've ever signed anyone in the early signing period without seeing all of their capabilities during their senior year," said Warhurst. "What's really interesting and intriguing about these guys is that these PRs are from their junior year and even more so is that they all run 50-second 400 meters. Additionally, they are all very good students and should have no problem making the transition to the University of Michigan as student-athletes."
