Michigan Men Stay at No. 7 in Cross Country Poll

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's cross country team stayed at No. 7 in the NCAA Division I poll this week for the second straight week. The Wolverines finished a close second to then-No. 5 Wisconsin at the Big Ten Championship on Oct. 30. The Wolverines, scoring 40 points, were edged out of the championship by merely two points by the Badgers.
Michigan will continue its postseason at the Great Lakes Regional Championship in Terre Haute, Ind., on Nov. 13. The men's race with start the day's events at 11 a.m. and the women will close the regional at noon.
