Kipping Suspended from U-M Women's Basketball Team

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Sophomore forward Ruth Kipping (Quincy, Ill./Quincy HS) has been suspended indefinitely from the University of Michigan women's basketball team.
Kipping has played in all 17 games in 1999-2000, averaging 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds. She has played in 47 career games, scoring 331 points and grabbing 209 rebounds.
Michigan (12-5, 4-2 Big Ten) will continue Big Ten Conference play this Sunday (Jan. 23), facing the University of Iowa Hawkeyes at 2 p.m. at Crisler Arena.
