NOTES
• Andrew Chapman's fourth-place finish tied his career best, matching his tie for fourth at last year's Marshall Invitational (April 9-10, 1999). It also marked the first time in his college career that he was the team's low finisher in a tournament.
• With their third-place showing, the Wolverines have now placed in the top four in all but one of their six events of 1999-2000, including a team championship at the Xavier Invitational (Oct. 11-12).
• Junior Ray Coyne (Hinsdale, Ill./St. Ignatius HS) had back-to-back rounds of 82 and tied for 57th place (164) in his first tournament as a Wolverine.
• Kyle Kilcherman's final-round 76 matched his season low, which he set in the third round of the season-opening Falcon Cross Creek Invitational (Sept. 17-19).
• Scott Hayes set a personal season best and matched his career low finish with his tie for 10th place. He also tied for 10th at Michigan State's Fossum Invitational last season (May 1-2, 1999).
• The Wolverine South Invitational was originally scheduled for 54 holes (36 Saturday, 18 Sunday), but Saturday's action was shortened to 18 holes when the morning round was canceled due to rain.
