As a fifth-year senior, she graduated magna cum laude with undergraduate degrees in English and political science and will complete her master's in public policy in the spring of 2002. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, is an Angell Scholar and has earned Class Honors during her academic career. She was also a finalist for the Marshall Scholarship and is currently in the selection process for the Rhodes Scholarship.
Kacor finished her career sixth all-time at Michigan with 959 digs. She was fifth on the team with an average of 1.77 digs per game this season. As a sophomore, she led the Big Ten with an average of 3.61 digs per game and recorded a team-high 18 double-doubles.
This is Moore's second postseason conference honor of 2001, as she received All-Big Ten honorable mention for her efforts on the court. She led the Wolverines with an average of 3.31 kills per game and was second on the team with 2.33 digs per game this season. She was named to the Hawaiian Airlines Classic and Pepsi Volleyball Challenge all-tournament teams and was the Most Valuable Player of the Pepsi Volleyball Challenge at Cliff Keen Arena.
Gamalski led Michigan for much of the non-conference season as the setter. She finished the season second on the team with 314 assists, an average of 7.14 per game. She joined Moore on the Pepsi Volleyball Challenge all-tournament team after posting 120 assists and 10 kills while leading the team to its second consecutive tournament title.
The honor requires that an athlete be a letterwinner in at least her second academic year at her institution and carry a career grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
