Wolverines Shut Out by No. 12-Ranked Fighting Illini

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The University of Michigan men's tennis squad suffered a 7-0 loss to No. 12-ranked Illinois Saturday afternoon at the Atkins Tennis Center. The Wolverines (6-7) were unable to gain a team point as the Fighting Illini swept all three doubles matches and won all six singles contests (five of the six were straight-set victories).
The Wolverines look to collect their first Big Ten Conference dual match win next Sunday (April 1, noon) against Wisconsin at the Varsity Tennis Center.
