"The quality of our players has been recognized by the national teams for the past few years," said U-M head coach Debbie Rademacher. "This trip will be a great experience for Abby, and the opportunity for her to play against this level of competition can only make her a better player.
"Her success can only help the entire team, and everyone on the team will be interested in her performance at the national camp."
This past season, Crumpton finished with a career-high 13 goals and four assists for 30 points. She now has 81 career points and ranks third on U-M's all-time points list. Against Indiana (Oct. 12), Crumpton recorded the first hat trick of her career with three goals against the Hoosiers, and she scored goals in six straight games late in the season (Oct. 26-Nov. 18).
A member of the All-Big Ten first team as well as the All-Big Ten Tournament team, Crumpton finished third in the Big Ten in goals (13) and fourth in points (30). She was named to the All-Great Lakes Region second team by both the NSCAA and Soccer Buzz.
