A midfield starter in all 18 games, Cameron recorded a team-high 13 points (five goals and three assists) and led the second-year Wolverines to a 10-7-1 record, including a 1-0 victory at No. 14 Ohio State (Nov. 2). He contributed to the team's final four goals of the season, as he scored three goals and assisted on the other.
A member of the All-Big Ten second team, he also earned all-tournament honors at the Big Ten Championship at Madison, Wis., where he tallied Michigan's game-winning goal against host Wisconsin in the first round.
Cameron finished the season with five goals, tying him with Jody Keeling (Odessa, Fla./Berkeley Prep HS) and Tom Gritter (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian HS) as the Wolverines' all-time goal leader. Cameron's total also set Michigan's freshman record for goals in a season, breaking Gritter's mark of four set in the program's inaugural season of 2000.
