Q U O T E S
Head Coach Joe McFarland
On the team's level of conditioning ... "We need to continue to work on our conditioning. This is the first time that a lot of these guys have been in a competition atmosphere this season. Today did a lot to tell us where we're at right now with our conditioning and what we need to work on. Overall, I thought our conditioning was pretty good; we just have a few guys who need to work on it and sharpen up before the start of the season."
On the team's intensity ... "I want to make sure we're wrestling a certain style; I want to make sure we're aggressive and we're getting after those guys. I think a couple of our guys did that well; one guy in particular who did that well was Ryan Bertin. He was changing off one thing to another and constantly being the aggressor; that's what I'm looking for. In a dual meet, I want all 10 of my guys going out and wrestling that style."
