ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Heavy rains, lightning and poor field conditions led to postponement of Friday night's (Sept. 20) men's soccer match between the University of Michigan and Oakland University at Elbel Field.
The match has been rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 10 (time TBA), at the OU Soccer Field in Rochester, Mich. The Wolverines and Grizzles meet last year in Rochester and battled to a 2-2 tie in the only previous regular-season matchup between the two schools.
Michigan returns to action Sunday (Sept. 22) as the Wolverines open Big Ten Conference action with a 2 p.m. kickoff against Penn State on the U-M Soccer Field.
