ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Junior striker Knox Cameron (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman HS) of the University of Michigan men's soccer team has been named first team All-America by the College Soccer News. It marks the first such accolade for Cameron and the first All-America selection by a Wolverine in the program's four-year existence.

The junior netted his 12th goal of the season in Michigan's 2-1 loss to Northwestern in the first round of the Big Ten Championship. During the season, Cameron scored in 13 of 19 games played, including five game-winning tallies and three game-winning assists.
Cameron missed the Wolverines' run to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA College Cup, as he was playing for the U.S. Under-20 Men's Soccer National Team in the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championships in the United Arab Emirates.
