U-M Announces Football Ticket Prices for 2003 Season

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan Director of Athletics Bill Martin announced today (Wednesday, March 19) the season ticket prices for the upcoming 2003 football season. Season ticket prices for fans seated in the Maize tier (end zones) will increase $2 per game to $42; tickets in the Blue tier (goalpost to 22-yard line) will increase $1 per game to $46; tickets in the Victors tier (between the 22- yard lines) will increase $1 per game to $50. All tickets for the two premium games, Notre Dame (Sept. 13) and Ohio State (Nov. 22), will be $5 more than the regular price.
Season ticket prices for students will increase $1 per game to $19.50. The student ID policy will again be in effect this season. A student must present his or her student MCard, along with a student ticket, upon entering the stadium. For an additional cost of $25, a student ticket may be validated for use by a non-student.
Single-game tickets will be priced at $46, $50, and $54 for Maize, Blue and Victors tiers, respectively. The Notre Dame and Ohio State games have been designated as premium games, with single ticket prices of $51, $55 and $59, respectively. The sale of single-game tickets, excluding Notre Dame and Ohio State, will begin on May 28, 2003.
Season ticket renewal applications will be mailed at the end of March. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, May 7, 2003.
The Wolverines open their seven-game home schedule against Central Michigan on Saturday, Aug. 30, at Michigan Stadium.
