No other college football program had more than three players of the year sign with its institution.
Tim Jamison was the Wolverines' lone representative on the USA Today High School All-America squad, receiving a second-team nod from his defensive end slot. Jamison comes from the same high school as former Wolverine and current San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Tai Streets (1995-98).
Mike Hart was selected to the EA Sports High School All-American Football Team.
Tight end Mike Massey is the brother of four-year senior defensive lineman Pat Massey.
The Wolverines added a pair of Lake Orion High School teammates in fullback Roger Allison and defensive tackle Will Johnson.
Five of the student-athletes are rated among the top 100 players nationally according to Tom Lemming: Chad Henne (No. 7), Tim Jamison (No. 18), Adrian Arrington (No. 43), Doug Dutch (No. 49) and Max Martin (No. 73).
