With the Lady Northern Invitational title, Kathy Teichert has won 15 titles in her 12 seasons with the Wolverines.
With the team victory at the Lady Northern Invitational, the Wolverines have now won at least one tournament in four of the last five seasons.
The last time the Wolverines won the Lady Northern Invitational was in 2001. That victory in Urbana, Ill., sparked an undefeated fall season for the Maize and Blue as they went 4-0. Later that season, the Wolverines made the program's first ever appearance at the NCAA Championships.
Michigan's 54-hole total of 881 is the third best tournament total of all-time. The Wolverines had team tally's of 294, 291 and 296, which mark the first three times the Wolverines have ever broken 300 at a home tournament.
Laura Olin's tie for second place finish marks her seventh top five finish of her career. In her last 26 tournaments she has led or tied for the team lead 20 times. For her career, she has led the Maize and Blue in 21 of 29 career tournaments.
Laura Olin's 219 54-hole tournament total (71-74-74) was a career-best by a single stroke. Her previous best was her 220 performance at the 2002 Central District Classic (Feb. 25-26). Olin's first round tally of one-under 71 tied her second best all-time collegiate performance.
Ali Stinson had a career-besting weekend at the Lady Northern Invitational as she had a career-best finish (5th), 54-hole total (221) and single round total (73, first round). Her prior bests for a finish was seventh (2004 Saluki Invitational), 235 (twice) and for a single round (75).
Ali Stinson's first round tally of one-over 73 at the Lady Northern Invitational was a career-best by two strokes. Her previous best was a 75 second round of the 2004 Golden Panther Invitational (Feb. 16-17) and the second round of the 2004 Big Ten Championships (April 23-25).
Brianna Broderick finished her Lady Northern Invitational with a career-best finish (tie for eighth) and with a career-best 54-hole tournament total (223). Her previous best was a 10th place finish at the 2004 Big Ten Championships and a 228 at the 2004 Lady Puerto Rico Classic (Feb. 22-24).

Amy Schmucker's second round total of even-par 72 was a career best by a single stroke. She topped the 73 she had in the third round of the 2004 Lady Puerto Rico Classic (Feb. 22-24).
Kelly Easton's first round tally of three-over 75 at the Lady Northern Invitational was a career best by a stroke. Her prior best tally was 76 in the second round of the 2004 Lady Puerto Rico Classic (Feb. 22-24).
Molly Spalding shattered her career-best 54-hole tournament total after tallying a 230 at the Lady Northern Invitational. Her prior best was a 246 at the 2003 Wolverine Invitational.
Molly Spalding tied a career-best single round performance with a 74 in the third round of the Lady Northern. She lowered her previous best score of 77 by three strokes that she recorded twice, in the first round of the Lady Northern and in the first round of the 2004 Big Ten Championships (April 23-25).
Redshirt-freshman Julie Inwood and freshmen Isabelle Gendreau and Lindsay Davis all competed in their first collegiate tournament.
Laura Olin extended her consecutive tournament streak to 39 by playing at the 2004 Lady Northern Invitational. She has not missed a tournament in her three seasons. Amy Schmucker sits at 25 straight tournaments after the 2004 Big Ten Championships (April 23-25). Brianna Broderick and Ali Stinson have played in 13 straights tournaments for the Maize and Blue. Former Wolverine Kim Benedict (2000-03) holds the U-M record, playing in all 49 tournaments during her four-year career.
