Dzubay Invited to Participate in MLS Player Combine

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Major League Soccer announced today (Thursday, Dec. 15) that University of Michigan senior goalkeeper Peter Dzubay (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview) has been invited to the MLS Player Combine on Jan. 12-15 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. The four-day event gives players a chance to showcase their talents for coaches and general managers of all 12 MLS teams and is a precursor to the MLS SuperDraft on Jan. 20.

Dzubay ended his U-M career as the top-ranked goalkeeper in career saves (298), career wins (36) and career shutouts (19). He also owns the single-season record for shutouts, with five in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
For his accomplishments, Dzubay earned All-Big Ten first team honors in 2003 and all-conference second team honors in 2005. Dzubay was named to all-tournament squads at the Michigan Invitational and the Big Ten Championship in 2005.
