ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Inclement weather -- temperatures in the mid-30s, wind chills in the mid-20s, a mixture of rain and snow, and strong winds -- prevented the University of Michigan baseball and softball teams from playing their scheduled home events on Saturday (April 23).
The Michigan-Ohio State baseball doubleheader was "weathered out," and the two teams will conclude the weekend series with a doubleheader on Sunday (April 24, 1:05 p.m.) at Ray Fisher Stadium. The original schedule shows a single game Sunday, but one of the games from Saturday will be made up as part of the twinbill (two seven-inning games).
The softball game between Michigan and Penn State was canceled and will not be rescheduled. The top-ranked Wolverines are slated to host Ohio State in a 1 p.m. doubleheader Sunday at Alumni Field.
