Big Ten Championships
(Through 2008 Season)
With 42 Big Ten Conference titles to their credit under nine different head coaches, the Wolverines claim more league championships than any other school, and the most of any athletic team in the Big Ten. In fact, no other Big Ten football team has claimed even 33 conference titles, and no other team can boast winning at least one Big Ten championship in every decade. Behind that success have been 271 players who donned the Maize and Blue and earned All-Big Ten Conference first team honors a total of 389 times since 1902, also the most of any conference school.
