ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan football team will have its annual preseason autograph appearance at a special "Fan Day" on Saturday, Aug. 27, at Michigan Stadium from 10:30 until noon.
The "Fan Day" event will take place on another date from the annual media event due to the cement work and general maintenance currently taking place at the stadium.
"Everyone involved with the football program became very concerned about the safety of the fans that attend this event," said Scott Draper, Director of Football Operations for the U-M. "There is a lot of cement work still being done, and it will not be finished for a few weeks.
"By moving the date, the fans will now be able to get on the field, see the team and get some autographs."
Due to the increased attendance at this event throughout the years, only one autograph per person per player/coach will be permitted.
All fans can enter Michigan Stadium through the tunnel beginning at 10 a.m.
