ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Fans of University of Michigan athletics can look forward to an increase in the quantity and quality of exclusive online audio and video content in the 2006-07 school year as U-M and CSTV Networks, Inc., team up to offer Michigan All-Access on MGoBlue.com.
All-Access offers live audio and video streams of select U-M events, as well as on-demand broadcasts of "Michigan Replay" and "Wolverine Sports Magazine." All-Access also features streams of Michigan coaches shows, select press conferences and special features on athletes, coaches and teams produced by Michigan Sports Television. All audio and video live-event streams will be archived for playback at any time.
For 2006-07, Michigan's audio offerings on All-Access will be provided free of charge. The audio lineup features live online game audio for all football, men's basketball, women's basketball and ice hockey games, as well as coverage of baseball, softball, volleyball, and other special events. Michigan All-Access will also feature live streams of Michigan coaches shows, including the "Football Assistant Coaches Show" and "Men's Ice Hockey Coaches Show."
All-Access will feature subscription live video coverage of select women's basketball, women's gymnastics, volleyball, wrestling and ice hockey events. In addition, "Michigan Replay," featuring head football coach Lloyd Carr, and "Wolverine Sports Magazine," which covers all 25 of U-M's varsity programs, will be return and be available on-demand.
Michigan All-Access will also offer video of Monday football press conferences with head football coach Lloyd Carr and select players, as well as postgame football press conferences following all home games. During basketball season, select weekly press conferences with head basketball coach Tommy Amaker will be offered at the start of the Big Ten basketball slate.
All-Access will also offer postgame video reports after select Michigan events, as well as special features produced by Michigan Sports Television including interviews, special reports and team features.
Monthly subscriptions to Michigan All-Access are available for $6.95, and an annual pass costs $49.95. At launch new subscribers will be offered a 14-day free trial.
The newest version of Michigan All-Access is a "virtual stadium" which incorporates the latest in technology and user interaction. Fans who utilize this best-in-class, easy-to-use platform can navigate the broadband channel by sport, news, audio, video and other criteria.
