Hall Named North Defensive MVP at Senior Bowl

MOBILE, Ala. -- University of Michigan senior cornerback Leon Hall (Vista, Calif./Vista HS) led a contingent of four Wolverine defenders at the Under Armour Senior Bowl, earning defensive MVP honors for the victorious North squad. Hall helped the North shut out the South, 27-0, collecting four solo tackles and one pass breakup in Saturday's game played at Ladd-Pebbles Stadium.

Fifth-year senior inside linebacker David Harris (Grand Rapids, Mich./Ottawa Hills HS) tied for team-high honors with five tackles, three solo stops, and added one tackle for loss. Senior linebacker Prescott Burgess (Warren, Ohio/Warren G. Harding HS) added three stops, two of which were solo efforts, to round out the Wolverines' defensive efforts in the game.
Senior defensive end LaMarr Woodley (Saginaw, Mich./Saginaw HS) practiced some during the week but did not play in the game due to a pulled hamstring.
