Senior running back Mike Hart tied Anthony Thomas (1997-2000) at the top of the U-M career list for 100-plus yard rushing performances at 22 games.
With 35 carries today, Mike Hart passed Jamie Morris (809, 1984-87) and Chris Perry (811, 2000-03) on U-M's career list. Hart's 833 career rushing attempts trail only Anthony Thomas' 924 career carries (1997-2000).
Mike Hart moved into third place on Michigan's all-time rushing list with 187 yards on the ground today. With 4,184 career rushing yards, Hart surpassed Tyrone Wheatley (4,178 yards, 1991-94) and now ranks third all-time at U-M behind Jamie Morris (4,393, 1984-87) and Anthony Thomas (4,472, 1997-2000).
Mike Hart eclipsed the U-M career record for games with 150-plus rushing yards. He set the new mark at 10, surpassing Anthony Thomas (1997-2000) who achieved the feat nine times.
With two touchdowns, Mike Hart posted his sixth career multi-touchdown game and his second of the 2007 campaign.

Freshman defensive back Donovan Warren forced and recovered his first career fumble. His first quarter strip set up Michigan's first touchdown.

Junior cornerback Brandon Harrison recorded his first quarter sack in the first quarter.
Senior linebacker Chris Graham's forced fumble at the end of the first quarter was the first of his career.
Senior inside linebacker John Thompson picked off his first career pass early in the second quarter.
Senior wide receiver Adrian Arrington hauled in his 10th career receiving touchdown to give U-M a 31-0 lead. He is the 21st player in Wolverine history to have double-digit career touchdown receptions.
Michigan's last two 30-plus point halves have come against Notre Dame. The Wolverines posted a 31-point first half today, following up on a 34-point first half in 2006 (Sept. 16, 2006).
Junior wide receiver Mario Manningham caught his fifth career touchdown pass against Notre Dame, giving him 16 in his career; he caught three in the end zone in 2006 and one as a freshman in 2005.
Michigan sacked Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen eight times today. It was the highest total for the defense since they registered seven vs. Penn State last season (Oct. 14, 2006).
