THURSDAY, OCT. 23 -- On the Road Again
Two days after getting back from Purdue we find ourselves back on the road, flying for the first time this season. This weeks destination: Wilmington, N.C., and the Landfall Tradition. Its definitely nice to have a change of scenery and get out of the Midwest and cold weather. Its always fun coming to the shores of North Carolina. Although we dont get to spend time on the beach, we enjoy the views from our hotel windows.
For the returners, it is always exciting to come back to Landfall; its not your traditional college tournament. Tomorrow morning well tee it up bright and early but one of our players gets to meet tournaments sponsors by playing in the College Am Event. Also the members of the country club invite us over for dinner one of the nights so we get to know them and enjoy a home cooked meal.
After coming off a solid final round were we moved up four spots, we are definitely feeling good vibes as we approach this event. The format of 18 holes every day is a little different pace allowing us a few more hours of rest and time for ourselves. Being on the road three consecutive weeks' makes things quite stressful and having these few extra hours will definitely help us get some of our school work done and maybe catch a few minutes of the big game on Saturday!
Its getting late and 5:45 a.m. is going to come really soon so were off to bed but there is live scoring so you can keep track of where we stand.
As Always ... Go BLUE! Its Great To Be A Michigan Wolverine!
