Sophomore/freshman linebacker Kevin Leach walked onto the team in 2007 and has earned a regular spot in the special teams lineup this season, recording a fumble recovery in the season opener against Utah and making his first collegiate tackle at Notre Dame on special teams. Leach also added a stop on defense against Illinois playing linebacker and hopes to contribute more this season on special teams and defense.
