| John Ferrara Junior/Sophomore Offensive Lineman |
Junior/sophomore John Ferrara made the move from defensive lineman to offensive lineman this season to help a group beset by injury and attrition. John saw action in all 13 games in 2007, playing in 12 contests on the defensive line, but when the coaching staff approached him in fall camp about switching sides, John did what was best for the team. He worked with teammate and friend Perry Dorrestein to adjust to his new position, seeing time in three contests at the guard spot including his first career start at Purdue. John made a giant block on Brandon Minor's 45-yard touchdown run in the first quarter against the Boilermakers and hopes to continue to make an impact with three games left in the season.
