Michigan Head Coach Red Berenson
On tonight's win... "I thought both teams came out and played hard. In the first period it was a very close game and [MSU] took the lead on a power-play goal. But I liked the way our team battled back. Eventually, I don't know if it was a fatigue factor since we had the advantage of playing the [early] game yesterday, we got the momentum and we got the goals. It's not often that you get more than one or two goals against [MSU goalie] Jeff Lerg. It was one of those nights where we got the puck behind him and we built from there. It wasn't just our top line with [Louie] Caporusso having a great weekend. [Travis] Turnbull's line was good -- each one of them (Brandon Naurato and Ben Winnett) had goals. The fourth line had a good weekend. It was just a good effort out of our team."
