INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The University of Michigan football program will have seven players participate in the 2008 National Football League Scouting Combine, scheduled for Saturday through Tuesday, Feb. 23-26, at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis. This is the largest contingent for the Wolverines since seven players participated in the 2005 combine.
U-M is represented by a five-man offensive contingent led by the record-setting duo of quarterback Chad Henne and tailback Mike Hart and the draft's top-rated offensive lineman in left tackle Jake Long. The receiving tandem of Mario Manningham and Adrian Arrington, a pair of early entrees, has also been selected to participate in the combine.
The Wolverine defense is represented by a pair of All-Big Ten second team performers in safety Jamar Adams and outside linebacker Shawn Crable.
The NFL Network will have exclusive coverage of the workouts, airing live daily at 11 a.m. EST.
