Sports Illustrated Releases Commemorative U-M Football Issue

ANN ARBOR, Mich. --Sports Illustrated is proud to announce the release of a special University of Michigan football edition of the magazine entitled: "Michigan: A Celebration of Wolverines Football". The issue is on newsstands now.

Sports Illustrated turns its spotlight on the Wolverine football program in this 80-page special edition which combines its award-winning writing with stunning photography to tell the tale of Michigan football from 1879 to present.

The issue includes Sports Illustrateds all-time Wolverine team and top 20 greatest moments in Michigan football history, as well as feature articles on Wolverine greats Tom Harmon, Desmond Howard, Charles Woodson and legendary coach Bo Schembechler. Also included is a preview of the 2008 team and a comprehensive feature on the greatest rivalry in college football history C Michigan and Ohio State.

The commemorative issue retails for $14.99.
