After redshirting his first season after transferring from Georgia Tech, sophomore/freshman quarterback Steven Threet has seen action in all three Wolverine contests in 2008, earning the start against Miami (Ohio) and Notre Dame. Threet passed for his first collegiate touchdown pass in the season opener against Utah and rushed for his first score against Miami (Ohio). He saved his best performance for Notre Dame, completing 16 passes for a career-best 175 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown pass.
