David Moosman started his first collegiate game at right guard against Utah (Aug. 30), seeing action for the eighth time in his career. The 6-5, 292-pound senior/junior lineman previously saw time as a back-up center, playing against Eastern Michigan, Purdue and Minnesota in 2007. Moosman was born in the Netherlands and attended Libertyville High School in Libertyville, Ill., where he was a three-sport star, also competing in wrestling and as a shot putter for the track and field team.
