Snow, Wintry Conditions Force Cancellation of PSU Meet

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Inclement weather and snow in the State College area forced the cancellation of Friday's (Oct. 16) Penn State National, prematurely spoiling the University of Michigan women's cross country team the opportunity to preview the course that will be used for next month's Big Ten Championships.

The Wolverines will complete the regular-season portion of their 2009 schedule next Friday (Oct. 23) at the annual EMU Fall Classic. The 5,000-meter race is slated for a 4 p.m. start at Hudson Mills Metropark in Dexter, Mich.
