Series Notes
• Tonight's game marked the 270th meeting between the in-state rivals. Michigan falls to 133-119-18 with the win tonight.
• U-M's six-game winning streak over the Spartans was broken tonight. The streak dated back to Feb. 23, 2008; Michigan won all five meetings with MSU during the 2008-09 season.
• The loss tonight signified the first time since Oct. 26-Nov. 23, 2001, that the Wolverines have dropped three straight home games.
