Postgame Notes: #21 Wisconsin 45, Michigan 24

• Freshman quarterback Tate Forcier completed 20-of-26 passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns against Wisconsin. Forcier completed 15-of-18 passes for 139 yards and one touchdown in the first half.
• Freshman running back Vincent Smith scored his first career receiving touchdown on his first career reception, a 22-yard pass play in the right flat during the first quarter.
• Vincent Smith had his best game in conference play, rushing eight times for 28 yards and catching seven passes for 54 yards and the one touchdown. He had four carries for 15 yards and six receptions for 55 yards at half.
• Senior defensive end Brandon Graham posted a career high in tackles (11) and tackles for loss against the Badgers (five). He contributed two sacks and forced a fumble.
• Sophomore slot receiver Roy Roundtree led the receiving effort with 56 yards on seven catches and scored on a 10-yard reception in the third quarter. Roundtree had a receiving TD for the second straight game.
• Graham led the team with six tackles, 3.5 TFLs, two sacks and one forced fumble at half.
• Sophomore defensive tackle Mike Martin set career highs in tackles (10) and tackles for loss (three) against the Badgers.
• Junior/sophomore defensive end Ryan Van Bergen scored his first career touchdown on a 14-yard fumble recovery at 3:46 of the second quarter. It was the second defensive TD of the season for the Wolverines (40-yard interception return for Donovan Warren at Iowa).
• Van Bergen's fumble recovery for a TD was the first for the Wolverines since LaMarr Woodley's 54-yard fumble return for a score at Notre Dame (Sept. 16, 2006).
• Graham set up Van Bergen's score with a sack and strip of Wisconsin quarterback Scott Tolzien.
• Sophomore/freshman strong safety Jordan Kovacs posted 10 tackles against Wisconsin, in addition to one forced fumble and collected his first career interception. It's the third time that Kovacs has recorded double-digit tackles in a game this season.
• Brandon Smith made his first career start at safety against the Badgers. Smith had four tackles and one TFL.
• Perry Dorrestein returned to the starting right tackle position at Wisconsin after missing last week's game against Purdue because of a back injury. Dorrestein played the entire way at right tackle.
• Today's game captains were linebacker Stevie Brown, defensive end Brandon Graham, wide receiver Greg Mathews and punter Zoltan Mesko.
• Former U-M head coach Gary Moeller and long-time assistant coach Jerry Hanlon made the trip to Wisconsin with the team.
