The Wolverines move to 3-2 all-time against the Golden Eagles with tonight's victory. Michigan has a 27-19 record against schools from the BIG EAST and has defeated three BIG EAST teams in the last two seasons.

Senior forward Ashley Jones posted 10 rebounds in tonight's game. She is the first Wolverine player with 10 boards since senior center Krista Phillips posted 11 against Purdue last season.
U-M posted 44 rebounds in tonight's win, the most rebounds for the Wolverines since posting 40 against Michigan State in the WNIT during the 2007-08 season.
For the second consecutive game, each of U-M's freshmen saw time on the floor and the Wolverines went 12 deep into the rotation.
The Wolverines shot 45.1 percent from the floor in tonight's victory and for the second consecutive game were over 40 percent from the floor. The last time this happened was last season when Michigan defeated Notre Dame and shot 44 percent and followed that up with a 46.3-percent shooting night against Cincinnati.
For the second consecutive game, U-M had three players in double figures, led by freshman guard Dayeesha Hollins. Last season, U-M had at least three players in double figures on 11 occasions and three times had four players in double figures.
