• The Wolverines move to 1-1 all-time against New Mexico State with tonight's loss. Head Coach Kevin Borseth, who entered the game with a 2-0 record against the Aggies, falls to 2-1.
• Junior guard Veronica Hicks (Chicago, Ill./Thornwood) posted her sixth game in double figures this season. She is the lone Wolverine to be in double figures in each contest this season.
• Freshman guard Dayeesha Hollins (Cincinnati, Ohio/Winton Woods) fouled out of her first collegiate game. She is the second Wolverine to foul out of a game this season; Krista Phillips fouled out against Marquette.
• Michigan was outrebounded by an opponent for the third time this season as New Mexico State held a 38-to-30 edge on the glass. The Wolverines also lost the battle of the boards against Ball State and Kansas.
• Michigan shot over 40 percent from the floor for the sixth straight game.
• The Wolverines move to 48-32 all-time in tournament action with tonight's loss. Michigan was playing in their third consecutive Thanksgiving tournament.
