The Wolverines move to 1-1 all-time against New Mexico State with tonight's loss. Head Coach Kevin Borseth, who entered the game with a 2-0 record against the Aggies, falls to 2-1.
Junior guard Veronica Hicks (Chicago, Ill./Thornwood) posted her sixth game in double figures this season. She is the lone Wolverine to be in double figures in each contest this season.
Freshman guard Dayeesha Hollins (Cincinnati, Ohio/Winton Woods) fouled out of her first collegiate game. She is the second Wolverine to foul out of a game this season; Krista Phillips fouled out against Marquette.
Michigan was outrebounded by an opponent for the third time this season as New Mexico State held a 38-to-30 edge on the glass. The Wolverines also lost the battle of the boards against Ball State and Kansas.
Michigan shot over 40 percent from the floor for the sixth straight game.
The Wolverines move to 48-32 all-time in tournament action with tonight's loss. Michigan was playing in their third consecutive Thanksgiving tournament.
