WTKA to Hold Remote at U-M Practice Next Thursday

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Sports Talk 1050 WTKA morning show hosts Sam Webb and Andy Evans will be on-site at Schembechler Hall on Thursday, April 9, broadcasting the station's Big Show live from 3-6 p.m. The local Ann Arbor station will help ramp up the spring game activities with an afternoon of Michigan football talk and giveaways during the Wolverines' final practice before the annual spring game.
Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez will kick off the show at 3 p.m. before directing the team through its 14th practice session of the spring. Director of strength and conditioning Mike Barwis, equipment manager Jon Falk, others from the program and former players will appear on the program during the team's practice.
The teams for the alumni football game will be announced during the radio program. The alumni game roster will be released early next week on MGoBlue.com.
In addition, WTKA will have the exclusive broadcast of Michigan's spring football weekend activities. The station will begin broadcasting Saturday (April 11) at 10 a.m. and carry the former player's flag football game and the final spring practice in its entirety on its airwaves.
