Michigan Results in the NACDA Directors' Cup
The NACDA Directors' Cup was established in 1993-94 to honor institutions maintaining a broad-based program, achieving success in many sports, both men's and women's. The winner receives a crystal trophy.
Points are accumulated after each athletics season based on an institution's national finish in up to 19 sports, five of which must be baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, women's soccer and women's volleyball. The next highest 14 (maximum) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender, will be used in the standings. Prior to the 2017-18 season, the standing were based on up to 20 sports, 10 each for men and women.
