• Senior defenseman Chad Langlais notched the 54th assist of his career tonight, giving him sole possession of 23rd place on Michigan's all-time list for assists by a defenseman. He passed Steve Kampfer (2007-10) and is two assists from cracking the top 20.
• Freshmen right wing Luke Moffatt, defenseman Jon Merrill and defenseman Mac Bennett made their career debuts tonight. Merrill and Bennett notched their first career points, each with an assist.
• Senior right wing Scooter Vaughan's unassisted goal in the first period was his first tally at Yost Ice Arena and the third of his career.
• Matt Rust registered his fifth career shorthanded goal in the second period with an unassisted breakaway effort.
• Shawn Hunwick set a career high in saves with 33. He is 2-1-1 in his career when having more than 25 saves in a game.
