Series Notes
Over the last six meetings in Yost Ice Arena, Michigan and Notre Dame are an even 3-3-0. All-time, U-M is 39-22-3 in Ann Arbor.
Entering this weekend, U-M and Notre had split their last three regular-season series.
Michigan continues to lead the all-time series against Notre Dame at 69-48-5 (.586).
Team Notables
Tonight was the first game of the season that Michigan wore its maize jerseys. Last season, the Wolverines were 5-2-1 when donning the maize uniforms.
Michigan drops to 1-3-1 on Friday nights, only scoring nine goals while allowing 13.
Brandon Burlon and Lee Moffie assisted on Carl Hagelin's first-period goal, giving the Michigan defense corps 27 points (5-22-27) in 11 games this season. The assist was Moffie's first point of the season.
