With his score of 219.05, Chris Morrison did not advance to regional finals.
The top 18 divers after preliminary action advance to the finals later today.
Morrison's best dive was his second, a forward 2 1/2 somersault 1 twist pike. He scored a 46.50 on that dive.
Morrison is competing at the Zone Regionals for the first time in his career.
Nine bids to the NCAA Championships will be handed out. Zone C, which features schools from Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio, has the most bids of the five zones across the country, based on finishes at last year's NCAA Championships.
Each place from all three boards is assigned a number, with the platform winner being granted the first bid. Once the competition is over, bids are handed out in order of those numbers until nine different individuals have made the national championship meet.
Tomorrow's (March 13) event will be the one-meter springboard.
