N O T E S
It was Michigan's first outdoor competition of the season, with four competitors in the field. The Wolverines are second in the six-team field to Bowdoin.
It was the first competition of the season overall for senior throwers Brendan Lodge and Grant Till.
Lodge was best amongst the four-person field in the hammer throw with a throw of 56.77 meters (186-03).
Till took third in the javelin, with a throw of 53.34 meters (175-00).
Junior multi-event performer Frank Shotwell has the lead in the decathlon after taking first place in four of the day's five events. His teammate, sophomore Kurt Reichenbach, took second in two others.
