On tonight's win ... "It's a big win. We all know how good [Ferris State] is. We saw it last night and you knew they would come out and be better tonight. I thought our team had one of our stronger road games of the year. I can't tell you we had a great third period. We had a good lead after two periods and we did what we had to do in the third."
On what factors played into Michigan's overall strong play ... "I think it was the start of the game, the focus. Our team is gaining confidence as a team. We have a lot of guys that are playing well. I don't know that this team cares so much who gets the credit. I think they're coming together as a team. I thought everyone contributed. You see guys back-checking harder and playing with a little more bite in their game get rewarded. We took the crowd out of the game early and that's a big thing on the road."
